Project M.E.S.S.

Mentorship • Employment • Stability • Support Services

This comprehensive reentry initiative, spearheaded by the non-profit organization, aims to reduce recidivism among women in Duval County. By directly recruiting from local and state female correctional institutions, the program reaches women in transition at a critical point and provides the necessary support to help them rebuild their lives with confidence and purpose.

Mentorship : Personalized guidance and connection with trained peer support specialists, who have experienced similar journeys, offering pre- and post-release mentoring and guidance that fosters personal growth and resilience.

Employment: Job readiness training, career coaching, and resume support lead to sustainable work opportunities, empowering women to transform their lives.

Stability: The initiative focuses on building essential life skills, connecting participants to housing resources, and establishing a sustainable daily routine.

Support Services: Holistic support centered on emotional wellness, community connections, and everyday needs, all aimed at supporting women and promoting women empowerment.
